In October, Lovink Enertech was one of the speakers at a technical meeting of the SEE network manager platform in Louisville. During the three-day congress, contracts were signed with network managers, who primarily came from the south-eastern states.
Export manager Dennis Jansen looks back on a successful participation. “We’re currently seeing a huge amount of investment in America, and underground cabling is one of the priorities. It’s also clear that network managers are looking for reliable, installation-friendly cable accessories.”
Keep it simple
LoviSil® technology was explained in greater detail during the technical presentation, and the response was extremely positive. The simplicity of installation and the water-proof nature of LoviSil® cable joints were well-received. Dennis Jansen explains: “The US predominately makes use of shrink techniques, where users have to perform many operations on both cores and connectors. Our philosophy on ease of application along with our installation techniques really appealed to this target group.”
Once the meeting came to an end, participants were invited to take lunch, which was co-sponsored by Lovink. This was the setting for making a number of valuable contacts, and several network managers indicated their interest in pilot projects with LoviSil® joints.
